Panorama is a fully accessible event, and we are dedicated to continually improving our efforts to ensure you have access to all the festival amenities. We welcome and encourage all feedback and suggestions from our patrons. The following explains the accommodations provided this year. Wheelchair Accessibility:
The venue is fully navigable for people with wheelchairs and/or mobility impairments. There are accessible pathways connected throughout the venue including parking, entrances, stages, vendors and all other activity areas.

Parking:
There is no general parking available at Panorama, however there will be a dedicated ADA parking lot with limited parking for patrons with valid, government issued ADA placards/permits, as well as corresponding DMV paperwork or other applicable proof that the placard/permit belongs to someone in the vehicle. The person to whom the placard or plate is issued to must be present in the vehicle, as a driver or passenger.

*Please note that it’s against the law to park in an accessible parking space without the required ADA credentials or to fraudulently use someone else’s in order to gain access to ADA parking spots.*

Access Center: YOU MUST STOP HERE TO GET YOUR ADA WRISTBAND CREDENTIAL
There will be an ADA Access Center located just inside the entrance into the venue and will serve as the main information hub and check-in for all accessibility related questions/concerns/comments.

Here you can:

  • Get an ADA credential wristband
  • Pick up the Accessibility Guide with information and maps
  • Get questions answered
  • Get combinations to locked and clean ADA restrooms
  • Charge and store accessibility equipment such as mobility devices
  • Learn about other accessibility services

Hours: Friday & Saturday 12:00pm-2:00am, Sunday 12:00am-1:00am

Accessible Viewing Areas :
There will be accessible viewing areas made available to ADA patrons who may need to see above the crowd on a number of Panorama’s stages. For entrance to the platforms please visit the Access Center to gain access to these areas.

Getting Around:
There are accessible pathways and routes throughout the venue. We encourage all patrons to utilize personal forms of transportation, including wheelchairs and scooters. If you need to recharge your motorized wheelchair, you may do so at the Access Center. Patrons should bring all cords and accessories needed to charge their devices. Chargers must use a 110-volt, 20 amp circuit. We will not be providing wheelchair or scooter rentals.

Service Animals:
Persons with disabilities and their service dogs or miniature horses that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for those persons with disabilities are welcome at Panorama. Pets are not allowed and will be turned away. Due to large-scale animal service fraud, and for the protection of all festival patrons, service animals must be screened and registered at the entrance gates. Please contact us at ada@panorama.nyc for protocols regarding service animals.

Anyone bringing a service animal will be responsible for and liable for any damage or injury caused by the animal.

Effective Communication Requests:
ASL Interpretation will be available for a number of performances based on request. If you would like to have performances interpreted, please send an official request to ada@panorama.nyc. Please indicate the specific performances you would like interpreted.
Closed captioning will be available upon request. Please send an official request to ada@panorama.nyc.
NOTE: Requests must be made no later than two weeks before the event to allow for sufficient processing time. Deadline for effective communication will be due no later than July 8, 2016.

Visual Accommodations:
We will be providing daily guided tours throughout the venue. If you would like a guided tour, please contact us at ada@panorama.nyc. Requests for large font and Braille must be made at least two weeks in advance.

Additional Services:
ATM’s and Concessions are fully accessible and located throughout the venue. If assistance is required please confer with a festival staff member.
First Aid: We have several First Aid locations that are noted on the festival maps. Professional medical staff can help you with your medical needs at these locations.
Special Dietary Needs: Panorama will have food vendors that provide gluten-free dietary options. For those with special dietary needs beyond the festival food service, please contact us at ada@panorama.nyc for further information.

Assisted Listening Devices:
Assisted Listening Devices are available for check-out at the Access Center. Will are also offering our guests with auditory disabilities the opportunity to try the Doppler Labs HERE active listening system and Subpac tactile sensation system. Stop by the Access Center for more information.

Shuttle Service:
Shuttle service will be available for guests that require mobility assistance. Make sure to check in at the ADA Access Center to obtain credentials for this accommodation. If you are coming into the venue for the first time for the weekend, please call the ADA Hotline to request a ride to the nearest entrance – 310-728-9527
